Jesse is a Senior Technical Specialist at Socratik (previously a Global SEO Strategist at IBM for 5 years). He lives in Austin, TX and has 11+ years of experience in the industry. He can frequently be seen speaking at industry conferences, such as Pubcon, State of Search, EngagePDX, and Rocks Digital. He has also been a judge for the US and Global Search Awards since 2018, contributes to industry blogs like Search Engine Journal, and has created a course on technical SEO for digitalmarketer.com. 
 
Outside of work, Jesse likes to spend time with his wife and daughter. He is also a musician, photographer, and artist (he originally went to school for graphic design and has a BFA from The University of Southern Mississippi). More recently, Jesse has begun painting miniatures for board games and tabletop RPGs as well as exploring oil painting (He follows along with Bob Ross and then adds in some goth/spooky elements subtly into the piece. He calls it the Macabre Ross series).
